Chapter Ten

Parting Storms and the Inspired Stone

Jesus and Ahkananda

June 1, 1998

For a long time, perhaps because of artistic license or a need to identify my Earth life by different groups of people around the world, there has been a casual, not cover-up, but sort of hiding the truth a bit.

The Physical Appearance of Jesus and the Apostles

When I was on the Earth in that life, I was naturally thin like most people of my time. I was out in the sun, but even so, if you had seen me in those days you would have to say, “Oh, this man is a local Arab, or perhaps he’s from Northern Africa,” by my appearance. And it is true you know; there is a tribe of people in Africa who stem their cultural heritage to Israel, and Israel doesn’t really want to [chuckles] honor that, but it is so. Nevertheless, that followed — I will say this — the casual observer of today would say, “This man is an African, or he is a Bedouin, always out in the sun.” My wife — and I have a wife — people would say, “Oh, she is also an African; no question about it,” and the heritage that we shared was a lineage associated with ancient culture.

As any good historian can tell you, some of the most advanced people thousands of years ago were in Africa. Granted, part of this was because they were isolated and they could develop an advanced culture without much interference. The whole idea of tribal warfare has been blown way out of proportion

And it was not such a big thing until recent years. My children all had dark skin, and more. The apostles, as they’ve come to be known — or as I like to call them, the students, all had dark skin; not because I chose dark-skinned people only, but because they were the ones who volunteered. Yes, I picked students, but I picked many more students than could leave their lives. But the ones who were able to leave were all dark-skinned, and the women also. It is true that the Jewish people of that area also had dark skin, much darker than you see them today. Granted, part of this was because of being outdoors, but that was not the only reason; some of them were of African heritage. And I am not comfortable with the way this has been glossed over in your time. The true picture of myself would reveal a man about in that life five foot tall, maybe five-one; my wife a little shorter, about four-foot-eight … not an unusual size for a woman of those days. My students — the men were twelve, women ranged from eighteen to twenty in a given time. I told you before what the women did; I won’t get into that too much. But I just want to say this in closing, so that people of today do not become overly attached to the racial image of that life.
